Mary Elizabeth, soprano, is an active soloist in repertoires including opera, oratorio, art song, musical theatre, and symphonic works. In 2005, Women's Business Cincinnati named her as one of the Top 10 Women in the Arts. She earned her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the prestigious College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati. While attending CCM she was awarded the J. Ralph Corbett Prize and was selected as a Concerto Competition Winner. After graduation, she placed second in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Auditions. She has performed numerous times with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Opera and has also sung with the Cincinnati Pops under the batons of Maestro Eric Kunzel, John Morris Russell, Eric Dudley and Marvin Hammlisch and has also sung with the Dayton Philharmonic, the Dayton Opera. She has also served on the faculty at Wright State University and many of her students have landed roles in national and international tours.
Mary has performed in many service types, from the Catholic latin Mass to the Jewish High Holy Days. She is currently the
choir director and cantor at Rockdale Temple. Mary has sung for hundreds of weddings and is a founding member of Fairfield Artists, LLC.
Philip, piano and organ, is an active pianist in the Cincinnati area. He attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music after winning a Van Cliburn Scholarship and studied with Frank Weinstock and later earned a Master’s degree studying with the celebrated collaborative pianist Sandra Rivers. He has recorded on the Eroica, Albany, Titanic and Sowash labels and has played and recorded with the Cincinnati Symphony, the Cincinnati Pops and the Dayton Philharmonic. As a composer Phil has composed numerous songs and instrumental works for performance, among them a setting of “Ave Maria” as a gift to his wife for their wedding (listen HERE). Phil has taught at Xavier University and is on the faculty at the College of Mount St. Joseph. Phil has played for hundreds of weddings, church services and masses and is an experienced church musician.
Jeffrey, trumpet, holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music(CCM) and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. During his time at CCM he was awarded student of the year for his senior recital performance and was a Concerto Competition winner. He also took 2nd place in the International Trumpet Guild's Orchestral Excerpt competition. As a freelance musician he has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony, Cincinnati Pops, Cincinnati Opera, Dayton Philharmonic, Dayton Opera, Lexington Symphony, Northern Kentucky Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Lebanon Symphony and the Sorg and Whitewater Opera companies. Jeff has played at more than 1,000 weddings and is an experienced church musician and is a founding member of Fairfield Artists, LLC.
